Terms & Conditions of Use

Thank you for visiting the Majorlens US website.
These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website, including making purchases on this website.
In using this website for these or any other purposes, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you cannot use this Site and/or buy any products or services through this Site.
We may make changes to the Site, these Terms and Conditions of Use, or the policies and conditions that govern the use of the Site at any time.
We encourage you to review the Site and the General Terms and Conditions periodically for any updates or changes.
Your continued access or use of the Site shall be deemed to be your acceptance of these changes.
These terms and conditions must be read in conjunction with any other applicable terms and conditions governing the use of this website.

Terminology

In these terms and conditions, the expressions "we", "us" and "our" are a reference to VISION TRUST TRADING PTE. LTD.

Amendments to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time. Amendments will be effective immediately upon notification on this website.
Your continued use of the website following such notifications will represent an agreement by you to be bound by the terms and conditions as amended.

Ordering Procedure

You will follow the ordering procedure described on this website.
You may not cancel an order once it has been submitted.
We give no undertaking as to the availability of products advertised on this website.
Delivery of the items to you will be completed in the manner described on this website.
Title in the items does not pass to you until payment has been received.
Risk of loss or damage to the items passes to you upon dispatch of the items.
Payment must be made in the manner described on the website. Prices are exclusiveof items and services tax. In all other respects, the price is exclusive of taxes, duties and charges imposed or levied in Singapore or the USA in connection with the supply of items.

The items are offered for sale only to persons who can make legally binding contracts.

Cancellation due to Error

You acknowledge that despite our reasonable precautions, products may be listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to a typographical error or any oversight.
In these circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel the transaction, notwithstanding that your order has been confirmed and your payment is completed.
We reserve this right up until the time of delivery of items to you. If a cancellation of this nature occurs after your payment is completed for the purchase, we will immediately issue a credit to your Credit Card for the amount in question.

Valid Prescription Required

By placing an order with us, you certify that you have a valid prescription from a certified eye care physician or an equivalent eye care professional for the contact lenses that you are ordering.By placing an order with us, you certify that you have a valid prescription from ophthalmologist, a certified eye care physician or an equivalent eye care professional for the contact lenses that you are ordering.
Further, you certify that the information submitted to us matches the prescription given to you by the eye care professional and is valid within the time period specified by the same eye care professional. You further certify that you will renew your prescription in strict accordance with your professional or ophthalmologist suggested regime.
We are in no way obligated to fulfill orders if we are unable to verify your prescription.
By providing contact information for your eye care professional, you grant us the right to contact him/ her on your behalf in order to verify your prescription and any other information provided.

Resend Policy

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the address and order details are correct when placing an order .
We charge a flat fee of $15.90 for each resend regardless of address mistake or order mistake on the part of the customer.
In the case of undeliverable orders due to insufficient or incorrect address provided by the customer, no refund will be given.
We will wait for the package to be returned to us before we attempt to contact the customer regarding the resend.
A resending fee request will be sent to the customer's email address upon the customer's acknowledgement and confirmation of the updated address and the order will be resent only after the resending fee is settled.
For exchange of items due to wrong product or prescription ordered, a shipping fee of $15.90 will be charged in addition to the return shipping charges which is at your own expense. Please refer to the Return Policy for more information.

Return Policy

We do not give refunds.
We will allow for an exchange of items if you placed an order with the wrong lens prescription or if your lens prescription has changed since you made the order, provided that the items have not expired and are in their original unopened packaging.
A shipping fee of $15.90 will be charged in addition to the return shipping charges which is at your own expense.
Before sending the products to us for exchange, please contact us first. You can contact us by using the [inquiry form]. In your message, clearly state the reason for the exchange.
We will wait for the items to be returned to us and the shipping fee paid first before we ship out the exchange items.
Be sure to pack the lenses carefully so they will not be damaged in transit.
The lenses should be packed in boxes and if necessary protected by bubble wrap. DO NOT pack contact lens boxes in an envelope.
We will not attempt to return back any items deemed unacceptable (opened, damaged, tampered) .
We are not responsible for any merchandise lost or damaged while en route to our customer support center. Do note that toric lenses will take at least one month to exchange.

Replacing Defective Lenses

We will replace the defective lenses but we reserve the right to inspect the returned lenses to ensure that they are actually defective. If you find that your lenses are defective, please do the following:

DO NOT throw away the defective lenses. Keep them with their original case.
Contact us by using the [inquiry form] with your Name, Lens Prescription, Order ID and a description of why the lenses are defective.
Send the defective lenses along with their original cases to our customer support center with your Name, Order ID, and a contact phone number. The address of the Customer Support Centre will be provided to you after you have contacted us using the inquiry form.

Be sure to pack the lenses carefully so they will not be damaged in transit. The lenses should be packed in boxes and if necessary, protected by bubble wrap. DO NOT pack contact lens boxes in an envelope.
We are not responsible for any merchandise lost or damaged while en route to our Customer Support Centre.

You agree that your use of this website is at your own risk.

(a) if the breach relates to items,

ⅰ . the replacement of the items or the supply of equivalent items,
ⅱ . the repair of such items,
ⅲ . the payment of the cost of replacing the items or of acquiring equivalent items or
ⅳ . the payment of the cost of having the items repaired; and

(b) if the breach relates to services,

ⅰ . the supplying of the services again or
ⅱ . the payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.

Except in relation to liability for personal injury (including sickness and death), and except as otherwise stipulated in these terms and conditions, we will not accept liability for any loss or damage (including indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage) which may be suffered or incurred by you or which may arise directly or indirectly in respect to or services supplied pursuant to an order placed on this website or in respect of any failure or omission on our part to comply with our obligations as set out in these terms and conditions.

You must ensure that your access to this website is not illegal or prohibited by laws which apply to you.
